Pulp Fiction (1994)

Director: Quentin Tarantino

Synopsis: The movie follows multiple characters through a story arch that has them meeting and experiencing each other at different times. Gangbangers and amateur boxers make up just some of the cast of people unfortunate enough to be in business with Marcellus Wallace ( a crime boss), and the story follows their story of handling different sticky situations involving their relationship with him.

REVIEW: This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The cast is fantastic and the atmosphere is unlike any other. Tarantino seamlessly links the stories of multiple interesting characters to create an edgy and gripping film. I love the ambience of the whole movie. Like some of Tarantino’s other films, namely True Romance and Reservoir Dogs, it just reeks of style and cool. John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson do a fantastic job as a pair of gangsters on their way out of the profession. They both have such chemistry in the movie and they play their parts perfectly. As always with a Tarantino movie, some of the scenes will have you laughing, and some will have you on the edge of your seat with tension. This is a must see for anyone that has enjoyed any of Tarantino’s work.
