The Last Stand (2013)
Director: Jee-woon Kim
The Last Stand is about a drug dealer who escapes while being transferred to another facility. The drug dealer is heading to the Mexican border, but he has to pass through a small town to get to the bridge. His only problem is the sheriff and community of this small town isn’t going to let him through without a fight.
My boyfriend and I both really enjoyed this movie. It has a lot of action and excitement. My favorite part was when the sheriff was telling the people of the town to go home and don’t come out. All the townspeople were old, and wanted to stay and eat their breakfast in the diner. But, when the sheriff flies through the diner window, they are all hiding behind the counters, and they poke their heads up to ask how he is doing. Sheriff Owen and the cops, build a roadblock to stop Gabriel Cortez and his men from getting through. There was a big shoot out and Gabriel’s men all died. When Gabriel gets there sheriff Owen goes on a high speed chase to catch him. Gabriel can see the bridge, but Owen is right behind him. I would give this movie 10/10 the actors and actresses all did a really nice job.
