Darjeeling Limited (2007)

Director: Wes Anderson

Synopsis: Three brothers travel India after their fathers death to bond and to experience a spiritual adventure.

Review: This movie is by far one of the best movies I have seen. It had great character development, it was funny and well structured. The acting was superb and so was the story line. Wes Anderson wrote and directed this movie. He wrote a great story. The story had everything you want from a movie. It was hilarious, it had sad moments, it made you think about your own life, and it even teaches you life lessons.  The cast was outstanding. He put Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, and Jason Schwartzmann in one movie. I wouldn’t expect them to work well together but they did a great job depicting the story. Since they have been in most of his movies, I think they knew exactly how to act for this movie to show the story perfectly. Throughout the movie, the characters each put in something different into the movie. There’s never a moment in the movie that you don’t notice the movies cleverness. I also enjoyed the soundtrack of the movie. This movie is very similar to most Wes Anderson movies. In most Wes Anderson movies, there is a rich family that is put into an exotic location and thats exactly what happens in this movie. Wes Anderson is coming out with a new movie called The Grand Budapest Hotel and I could not be more excited for a movie. This movie will include Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Harvey Keitel and way more. It has an amazing cast and that’s one of the things you need to make a good movie so I can not wait.
