What to Expect When You’re Expecting (2012)

Director: Kirk Jones

Synopsis: A comedy focused around 5 couples that become pregnant and have to now get ready to be parents. The couples don’t all know each other, but their lives all cross by the end of the film. They are all in different places in their lives, some have been trying for a long time, and some were just random hookups. Two of the couples are a father son pair and they have serious competitive issues.

Review: This was a great movie, and it had me laughing the whole time. As a mom of 3, I can relate to all the fun pregnancy woes depicted in the movie. I like how they touched on several controversial issues like circumcision and breastfeeding, and showed that in the end no matter how prepared you are, it could all go out the window. I thought the movie was very entertaining, and I am not a big movie person.
