Synopsis: Legally Blonde is the story of Elle Woods (played by Reese Witherspoon). Elle is not your typical sorority girl, she is blond, pretty, rich and smart. This girl has all the bells and whistles including a super-hot and also very rich boyfriend Warner (played by Matthew Davis). Basically Elle’s life is headed in the direction of perfection. That is until one night when Warner unexpectedly breaks things off with Elle and heads off to law school. In typical Elle fashion she decides to follow Warner to law school and win him back. The film follows Elle through her journey to not only get her relationship back, but also discover that she may be more cut out for the lawyer thing then she thought.
Review: I love this movie. When it first came out I couldn’t get enough and pretty often I go back to it whenever I need a solid pick me up. It not only empathizes with the feeling of losing your true love but it also taps into your nicer more understanding side and shows young girls that you don’t have to be a mean girl to make it to the top. In fact playing nice is more likely to get you the results that you crave.
