Snowpiercer (2013)

Director: Joon-Ho Bong

Summary: Set in 2031 where the entire world has frozen over besides the people aboard an indestructible train created by a very twisted man named Wilford. For 17 years, the world’s survivors are on a train treking round and round the globe creating their own economy and class system. A group of lower-class citizens, led by Curtis, living in the back section of the train are determined to get to the front of the train in attempt to spread the weath around and create better life for all, but mostly their section of the train. Each section of the train holds new surprises for the group who have to battle their way through to the front.

Review: This movie was unlike any action I have ever seen. Seeming that it might be very difficult to keep the views attention throughout the whole movie where the only setting is the train, Bong really utilized each car of the train well to create a new setting as the group moved up the train. But, the ending was horrible and if I knew it was that bad I wouldn’t have watched the movie. I hope they make a sequel!
