The Stepford Wives

The Stepford Wives, 2004

Director: Frank Oz

Synopsis: The Stepford Wives is a remake of the original 1975 film. The film follows a city executive, who is a mogul, a mother, and wife, but is really only good at making money as her empire comes crashing down after one of the actors in one of her shows pulls a gun at an award show and causes the demise of her empire. The family then decides to move to the town of Stepford, where the wives are perfect and the men are in total control.

Review: This is a classic movie and as usual for all classic chick flicks I thoroughly enjoyed it (but I’m really into chick flicks). I love how this movie has a surprise twist as to who is really running the show and also how it portrays the perfect wife is pretty amusing.
